19th Century Rococo Revival Dining Suite

This is a complete dining room set from the 19th century, designed in the elegant Rococo Revival style. It is an excellent example of high-quality craftsmanship and includes a mirrored sideboard, a display cabinet, a large dining table, and a set of matching chairs.

The sideboard features a curved front and a beautiful green marble top. It is made from a rich, dark wood like rosewood or mahogany and is decorated with detailed floral patterns made from inlaid wood (marquetry). A large, ornate mirror is built into the back, surrounded by a frame with gilded bronze hardware and a central decorative crest.

The matching display cabinet, or vitrine, shares the sideboard’s curved shape and inlaid wood designs. It has three sections with curved glass doors, perfect for displaying collectables. The inside is lined with a soft, tufted fabric, and the cabinet is finished with rich, gilded bronze details.

The set’s centerpiece is the large dining table. It features a heavy, shaped green marble top that perfectly matches the sideboard. The carved wooden frame just below the marble is decorated with matching gilded accents.

The suite includes a set of matching dining chairs, each with a beautifully carved frame. Their most notable feature is the ornate backrest, which has two panels of woven cane. The top of each chair is decorated with a gilded crest and other carvings. For comfort, the seats are padded and upholstered in fabric.
